Its Yuvraj Singh's show at Indore once again as India thrash England

It was Yuvraj Singh all the way at Indore as India beat England by 54 runs to take a 2-0 lead in this 7 match odi series. Yuvraj not only scored his 10th odi hundred and second on the trot but also ended up picking 4 wickets.Chasing down a target of 293 England were bowled out 238.

Early in the morning India won the toss and elected to bat. Soon India were in a spot of bother losing 3 early wickets for just 29 runs on the board. Sehwag tried to cut an incoming delivery and was bowled. Suresh Raina ended up chipping the ball to square leg. Rohit sharma fell to a pull. All the three wickets went to Stuart Broad.In walked Yuvraj Singh and completely changed the picture.

In between all of this Gautam Gambhir was watching from the other end. He quickly dropped anchor.Both of them took their time as the ball was not coming on to the bat. The bowlers were bowling really well. They still kept the run rate at 4 an over and made sure that they never got into a shell.The running between wickets was excellent and they kept getting the odd boundary.

Their century partnership made sure that India were out of the woods. Gambhir was positive and got to 1000 runs in the calendar year. He went on to get to his 50 before playing on to Kevin Pietersen. Dhoni came in but was scratchy.He also went on to score 1000 runs this year. But Yuvraj was in great form. He made sure that India kept up with the run rate. He went on to get to his hundred before getting caught behind of Broad. Today's innings was much better than the first one considering the fact that India were tottering at 29 for 3. He was not 100 percent before the start of the game, and the pitch was not a flat one. He went on to get 1000 runs against England during the course of the innings. India finished in a flurry with Yusuf Pathan scoring his maiden half century of just 29 balls. His crucial assault in the final over of Harmison for 17 runs propelled India to 292 in 50 overs. Broad went on to pick 4 wickets.

India got of to a great start Raina coming up with a brilliant run out to dismiss Bell. But Owais Shah and Matt Prior put a half century stand. But once the spinners came in to bowl they bottled up both ends. Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh made sure that the asking rate went over 8 an over. Yuvraj in between struck twice getting the wickets of Shah and Prior. Shah was trapped in front for a well made half century. Prior was bowled

England were struggling for momentum, when they decided to take the third powerplay, the batting side really got stuck in. Flintoff and Pieterson took 60 in 5 overs. One over from Harbhajan went for 20 runs. Flintoff smashed him for 3 sixes. They slowly were about to swing the momentum.But Yuvraj struck twice in one over. He trapped Flintoff in front who was earlier lucky not to be given out caught behind. Pietersen got cleaned up by Yuvraj. And it was game set and match India inspite of some late order hitting.
