Norfolk beat Suffolk by an innings in the latter's inaugural match in the Championship.
The game ended at 1.05 pm on the second day, after Suffolk had been forced to follow on.
For the winners, Raikes's 145 included 21 fours, 3 threes and 10 twos in an innings of 2¾ hours.
In the Norfolk innings he added 107 runs with Shingler for the seventh wicket in under an hour.
Smith took 11 wickets in the game for 44 runs.
For the losers, Wrinch's 70 contained 10 fours.
Fox batted down the order in the Suffolk first innings because of a temporary indisposition.
