For Bedfordshire, Peel took 12 wickets in the match for 140 runs, including 7 for 54 in the Suffolk first innings. In the Bedfordshire first innings Holdstock was hit twice and retired hurt, taking his place again at the wicket at the fall of the second wicket at 39. In the Suffolk second innings Mustard added 91 with Lang for the 8th wicket and 50 with Trudgett for the 10th wicket.
