This match was drawn, with Cambridgeshire winning on first innings. The Cambridgeshire declaration had set Hertfordshire a victory target of 349 runs in two hours and 10 minutes. For the home side Titchmarsh scored 89 and 74. Bonsey's 82 contained 13 fours. In the Hertfordshire first innings, Bonsey and Titchmarsh put on 116 runs for the second wicket, and in the second innings Dumbelton and Titchmarsh added 102 runs for the same wicket. For the visitors, there were 14 fours and 7 threes in Reid's 132, an innings of 3 hours and 20 minutes. There were 2 fives and 2 fours in Collier's 62 and Hunt scored 50.
