DAY, Leonard Morrison.
Amateur.
Born at York, 24th December 1859.
Died at Crouch End, Hornsey, Middlesex, 25th April 1943.
He was educated at Long Ashton School, near Bristol, and under residential qualification played for Gloucestershire on fifteen occasions 1880-82. He became a professor of music.
The 1881 Census finds him lodging with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Littlejohn and family, at 25 Woodstock Road, Hammersmith, London. He is then aged 21 and a student at the Royal Academy of Music. There are two other lodgers, Miss Maria Wigley, a governess, and Mr. F.J. Williams, a literary gentleman.
