On two occasions, Glamorgan have played Sunday League games at Vicarage Field, which forms part of the sports complex owned by the University College of Wales in Aberystwyth. The first county game in 1977 was part of the town`s 900th Centenary celebrations, whilst the fixture in 1989 was part of Glamorgan`s policy, following their own Centenary in 1988, to take their Sunday games around the Principality.
