Player: | PA Todd |
Paul Todd was on Nottinghamshire`s staff for 11 years, during which time he scored over 7,000 runs, and hit eight centuries, including a career-best 178 against Gloucestershire at Trent Bridge. Sadly, the right-handed opener had to give up professional cricket in 1982 owing to a family illness.

He returned to club cricket in 1984, and from 1985 he played for Staffordshire and appeared for the Minor Counties. In 1987 he struck a belligerent 107 against Glamorgan for the Minor Counties in the Benson and Hedges competition, and with Alan Butcher out through injury, Todd joined Glamorgan.
Todd duly appeared in 14 first-class matches in 1987, and scored 135 against Worcestershire at New Road. He only appeared in one-day games in 1988.
