William Jones was a successful all-rounder with Pontardawe, who played occasionally for Glamorgan in the mid 1930`s. In all, the right-handed batsman and bowler played 11 times between 1933 and 1938, but he only scored one half-century – an unbeaten 51 against Worcestershire at Llanelli in 1933.
