Player: | AR Howard |
Alan Howard was the son of Leicestershire`s Arthur Howard and the brother of Jack Howard. He joined the Glamorgan staff in 1928 as a forceful and attractive left-handed batsman, but in six seasons with the Welsh county, he failed to establish a regular place in the side, and in his 59 matches for the Welsh county, Howard only scored three half-centuries.

After leaving the county`s staff in 1933, Howard remained in South Wales, and he continued to be a heavy scorer in club cricket for St.Fagan`s and the Hill`s Plymouth club in Merthyr.
