Lancashire 1875
Born 13.9.1855 Bolton.
Died 9.12.1891 Bolton.
 
The son of Peter Kevan, chartered accountant, of Bolton. 
He played in only two matches for Lancashire, both in 1875 and both against Kent. In the first, at the end of July, at Old Trafford, he batted at number ten and made a pair. Accompanying the team to Catford Bridge in mid August he scored 0 and 12. 
On 18th and 19th August 1879 he opened the innings for the Gentlemen of Lancashire against Uppingham Rovers at Old Trafford and scored 5. He also took a catch. 
At the time of the 1881 Census he was living with his parents at 25 Park Road, Bolton, aged 25, a chartered accountant and unmarried. His father Peter is aged 52, and a chartered accountant and his mother Henrietta, aged 48. Also at home are son William aged 22 a chartered accountant and a daughter Annie aged 17. There are two domestic servants.
