West Indies opener Runako Morton said West Indies will again try to replicate their brilliant show of Sabina Park in the third ODI. Morton was aware of the fact that whoever wins the third ODI at the Beausejour Stadium on Friday would then be safe and won’t look towards being defeated in the series. The batsman said he personally would settle for nothing less than a win.

"The series is level at 1-1. As always I will be looking to win," he said.

To win the third ODI, Morton said, his teammates would show the same zeal that helped them crush the visitors by eight wickets in the second ODI.

"We will be looking to put in another good team effort as we did in Jamaica. Players are putting their hands up and putting in good performances and we are confident," said the right-hander.

As far as his batting is concerned, the right-hander has looked in great form in the series. In the first of the four-match ODI series, Morton hit 42 from 51 balls and did even better in the second, hammering an unbeaten 85 from 102 balls at Sabina Park. He credited his good show with the bat to his positive outlook.

"I always like to think positive and since I came back into the team I have been looking to put my best foot forward for the team," he said.

"I don't want to get too much ahead of myself. I am taking the positives from those two knocks. From the start of the year I have been feeling quite relaxed at the crease and I am getting the results," he said.

Otherwise a number three batsman, Morton has effortlessly adjusted to the opener's role in the series and he seemed enjoying the job.

"Being a No. 3 throughout my career, there was not much of an adjustment to move up to open the batting with the captain," Morton explained.

"It is all about dedication, application and backing myself to do the job. I aim to stay positive," he added.
