DateLine: 19th July 2009
Australia A thumped Pakistan A by seven wickets in the one-off T20 fixture at the Allan Border Field. By winning the T20 fixture, the Australian team has registered wins in all the formats tour. A combination of hostile and accurate bowling from Tait and Geeves combined with devastating batting from Voges and White made the win comprehensive for the Australian team.

Electing to bat first Pakistani batsmen were unable to make an impact as an accurate Australian bowling did not let the Pakistani batsmen off the hook. Mohammad Hafeez played some sumptuous shots as he scattered the Australian bowlers to all parts of the ground initially. After he fell to Geeves, the rest of the batsmen could not find the right mixture of caution and aggression as they lost their wickets when the pressure mounted.
The innings folded at 170 in exactly 20 overs and the target looked a challenging one. But the Australian openers Warner and Paine put the Pakistani bowlers to the sword as they went hammer thongs from the word go. Even though the Australian team lost three wickets in five overs, a classy Voges and aggressive White did not let the foot off the accelerator as they put on an unbeaten 129 for the fourth wicket to seal the win for Australia.LATEST SCORES
