Australia captain Ricky Ponting said he is spurred by the constant boo-booing by English crowds, since it means he is in form.
The Aussie skipper was jeered on his way to the wicket during last week's third Ashes Test at Edgbaston.
The incident turned the spotlight on supporters' behaviour ahead of tomorrow's fourth Test at Headingley, a place known for its boisterousness. Ponting though is least concerned of this.
"I've been speaking to a few English journalists about it and they've said they've been disappointed with it.
"For me it comes with the territory of being an Australian cricket captain in this part of the world.
"There's not much I can do about it, I'll just take it with a grain of salt.
"I've expected it to happen, it's no skin off my nose. If anything it just makes me more determined to play well.
"I haven't thought anything about it, it doesn't worry me one bit.
"I'll keep leading the team and play as well as I can. If I actually play well I get booed more so hopefully I get booed more."
