Middlesex riding on Compton's blazing hundred defeated Glamorgan by 63 runs in their Division One Pro40 encounter. With this win Middlesex has gone on top of the table of Division One.

Shaun Udal had won the toss for Middlesex and had no hesitation in electing to bat first. The Middlesex openers, Compton and Malan put on a demoralising 105 in 19 overs. No bowler was spared during the whirlwind stand as they kept finding the boundaries with ridiculous ease.
Malan won the race to fifty but was soon dismissed by off spinner Dean Cosker. Compton added a further 73 with Owais Shah, who made 36 from 49 balls before he was stumped by Wallace off Cosker. Compton reached his third one-day ton and finally Jim Allenby claimed his wicket for 121.
In reply Glamorgan openers, Rees and Will Bragg put on 38 in five overs for the first wicket. But Bragg was caught behind off Tim Murtagh and Henderson bowled Allenby and Herschelle Gibbs cheaply, before Rees and Maynard steadied the ship.
They added 89 for the fourth wicket with 151 needed from the last 20 overs, but Rees was caught by Shaun Udal off Malan for 58 and wickets tumbled thereafter.LATEST SCORES
