Rishton have signed South African all rounder Andrea Agathagelou as their new professional. Agathagelou, who is 20 years old on November 16th, plays for North West and Lions and he has also represented South Africa at Under 19 level.

 

Born in Transvaal, he holds a Greek passport and he is also coming to this country next season under a cricket scholarship at Old Trafford.

 

Since making his First-class debut in February 2008, the right handed Agathagelou has made one century in compiling 437 runs at 25.7. His leg spin bowling has also picked up 3 wickets in just under 30 overs.
