Mashrafe Mortaza, who is nursing a knee injury since July last year, has been included in the limited-overs squad for the teams' tour to New Zealand. However, Mortaza has opted out of captaincy which means Shakib Al Hasan will continue to lead the side even against the Kiwis.

The 15-member squad announced by the board, following the team's 2-0 Test series loss, features the same team that played against India except for out-of-form senior player Shahriar Nafees who has been replaced by his former-ICL teammate Aftab Ahmed.
Left-arm spinner Abdul Razzaq returns to the Test team in place of Enamul Haq jnr.
