The Australian selectors have included Michael Clarke for the two-Test series against New Zealand. Clarke had earlier pulled out of the ODI series mid-way through the tour due to "personal reasons".

 

Clarke Clarke was named in Australia's Test squad as vice-captain, with Ricky Ponting being the captain. Also included were rookies Steve Smith and Ryan Harris.
