Colne have signed South African Pace bowling all rounder Shadley Van Schalkwyk as their professional for 2012.

 

Shadley is a 23 year old right arm fast/medium bowler and strong left handed bat. He plays Full Franchise Cricket for the Knights.

 

In all First-class matches he has scored 573 runs at 26.1 with a highest score of 86 and he has taken 52 wickets at 36.0 with a best of 4-39 since making his debut in 2008.

 

Van Schalkwyk will be the club's seventh South African professional.
