Colne have had to sign up a replacement professional following the late withdrawal of their original choice Shaun Von Berg.

 

The club learned earlier this week that due to unforeseen circumstances Von Berg will be unable to fulfill his contract for the forthcoming season but have moved swiftly and are pleased to announce that Northerns all rounder Thomas Kaber will instead be engaged as professional for the 2015 season.

 

Twenty-two year old Kaber is a right handed batsman and slow left arm chinaman bowler who currently averages 25.11 and 25.21 respectively.

 

He comes highly recommended from current Lowerhouse professional Cobus Pienaar who captain's Kaber at the Northerns.
