Nelson have signed 25 year old South African batsmen Devon Conway as professional for the 2017 season.

 

Devon has 172 First-class appearances under his belt across all three formats and currently represents the Gauteng Province and The Lions Franchise.

 

Devon has racked up 4700 First-class runs at an average of 40.51 and has chipped in with 15 wickets with his off spin bowling.

 

Conway also has impressive stats in his previous stints in the UK representing Matlock (Derbyshire Premier League), Kearsley (Bolton League) and Vauxhall Mallards (East Anglian Premier Division).

 

The left hander has scored 900 plus runs in three out of four seasons in the UK with a season high of 1497 in 2013 and a best bowling return of 40 wickets.
