Neil Brand will not be returning as Haslingden professional for the 2026 season due to family commitments.

 

Brand had a successful season in the Lancashire League hitting 879 runs at 62.8, including three half centuries and six half centuries.

 

His 150 against Darwen was the highest individual innings by a professional.

 

He also took 29 wickets at 18.4.

 

In all matches Brand hit 1014 runs at 53.4 and he also took 33 wickets at 21.3.

 

The club has already begun to have negotiations with players of a similar calibre.
