Former Rawtenstall batsman Grahame Lord has passed away at the age of 89.
Father of current Haslingden Chairman Andrew, Grahame scored 1879 Lancashire League runs at 15.4 and was a member of the Rawtenstall team that did the league and Worsley Cup double in 1976.
He was also an outstanding slip fielder, taking 75 catches from 177 league games.
After leaving Rawtenstall at the end of the 1987 season Grahame played for Edenfield until he was 60.
In his later years he was a member and keen supporter at Haslingden where his grandson Oliver is a current first team player.
Grahame's Funeral will take place at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday 25th February 2:20pm then after at Haslingden CC (from 3pm).
