ICC Media Release - 12 February 2995

Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer has been reported under the ICC Code of Conduct for comments made about the umpires in recent matches between Pakistan and Australia.
ICC Chief Executive Malcolm Speed has reported Mr Woolmer under Level 2.4 of the ICC Code which deals with 'public criticism of, or inappropriate comment on a match related incident or match official' for comments detailed in several Australian newspapers on 8 February.
As the matter falls outside the period of the series in question, the hearing will be dealt with by the Pakistan Cricket Board as stipulated in D.11 of the ICC Code as soon as is reasonably practicable.
An alleged breach of the ICC Code can be reported by the match umpires, the team managers, the Chief Executive Officers of the participating boards or the ICC Chief Executive. The ICC Chief Executive must lodge a report within five days of the alleged incident.
All Level 2 breaches carry a minimum penalty of 50 per cent of the player or officialÂ’s match fee and a maximum penalty of their full match fee and/or a one Test match or two One-Day International match ban.
In the case of officials that are not paid a match fee, the 'match fee' is considered to be the same as that of the players. If an official is banned they are not permitted to carry out their duties on matchday.
The ICC Code of Conduct can be found in the 'rules and regulations' section of the ICC website, www.icc-cricket.com.LATEST SCORES
