Inzamam-ul-Haq, Pakistan's captain has been fined 30% of his match fee and banned from playing one Test.

After the Bangalore Test ended the ICC Match Referee Chris Broad summoned Inzamam and the Manager of the Pakistan Team, Saleem Altaf, for a hearing.
The ban and fine came after the umpires, Simon Taufel and Billy Bowden, had filed a report on Inzamam's behaviour regarded as dissent and excessive appealing during the last day.
During the final day Inzamam had arguments with the umpires after some confident appeals were turned down. Inzamam was seen on TV visibly upset when a caught behind appeal in the first session against Gautam Gambhir was denied and the snickometer showed a clear contact between bat and after another close call when Virender Sehwag was batting. Another case was in the final session when a bat and pad shout while Danish Kaneria was bowling was denied by umpire Bowden.
Saleem Altaf was reported saying that the Pakistan Cricket Board would decide later if an appeal will be made against the Match Referee's decision.
In Australia last year Inzamam was only reprimanded and was fortunate to miss a more severe penalty after Pakistan team's slow overrate when the Referee overlooked the past record.
If there is no appeal Inzamam will miss out Pakistans first Test against West Indies later this year. There were also reports in Bangalore that the entire Pakistan Team may be cesured for excessive appealing on the final day.LATEST SCORES
