LAHORE, 29 April 2995: Fahadullahs blistering knock of 61 off 38 balls steered Karachi Dolphins to the final of ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup beating Faisalabad Wolves by six wickets at the Gaddafi Stadium here on Friday.

Fahad came to bat at the fall of Khurram Manzoors wicket when the total score was 25 while the Dolphins were chasing a modest target of 170. Fahad showed his aggressive mood since the beginning of his innings and clubbed the Wolves ruthlessly. He kept them busy in the field hitting four towering sixes and three fours.
Agha Sabir made 24 off 30 balls while Moin Khan also scored 24 off 18 balls. Fawad Alam made an unbeaten 21. Mohammad Hafeez claimed 3 wickets for 33.
Earlier, the Dolphins restricted Wolves to 169 for 7 after they invited them to bat first. They lost their opener Shahid Muzaffar cheaply for 1 and Khurram Shehzad for 9. The hero of the last two matches Asif Hussain, failed this time and returned to the pavilion after scoring 14.
The middle-order batsmen Imran Ali and Mohammad Salman played aggressively and added 55 runs for the 7th wicket. Their partnership gave some respectability to their team's total. Imran made 42 off 20 balls with the help of one six and five fours. Imran Khalid remained unbeaten on 27. Faheem Ahmed took 3 for 29. Fahadullah was declared Man of the Match.(Article: The opinions expressed in this article are those of the author only.
