Overage U-19s player and his Association President banned by Pakistan Cricket Board

Islamabad Cricket Association Under-19 Cricket Team has lodged a protest against Rawalpindi Cricket Association Under-19 Cricket Team on one overage player, namely Ali Sarfraz. After verification from the records of concerned authorities, it has been proved that Ali Sarfraz is overage.

 

Rawalpindi Cricket Association has violated the rules and as per rule 5 (a) and (c) of Playing Conditions and Rules for Domestic Tournaments 2005-2006, the President Rawalpindi Cricket Association and Ali Sarfraz have been banned for one year and full match points will be awarded to their opponents.

 

Similar cases are being investigated against Loralai, D.G. Khan, Pishin, Muzaffargarh, Naseerabad and Khairpur Cricket Associations.
