Simon Jones has left the England One Day squad and been replaced by Chris Tremlett . Jones has a knee injury which appears to be unrelated to the serious injury that ruled him out of the game for Eighteen months. Chris Tremlett's father Tim never represented England despite a long first-class career but his Grandfather Maurice played three tests in 1947/8. Rather than face Glamorgan at Southampton for Hampshire Tremlett will join the England squad this evening at Bristol but is unlikely to play in the match there against Australia. Tremlett has made a terrific start to the 2005 season averaging under 20 runs per wicket in both first-class and ListA cricket. Tremlett is a tall bowler and gets life from most pitches, he doesn't however bowl with the same pace as Jones.
