Orissa's police chief Amarananda Patnaik Monday denied that terrorists posed any threat to Wednesday's one day match between India and the West Indies at Cuttack. "The government has not received any intelligence report on the alleged terror threat. There is no substance to the reports," Patnaik said. He said the Orissa Police were nevertheless taking adequate steps to ensure a peaceful match at Barabati stadium. Some media reports, quoting unnamed sources in the Orissa Police, say that the Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Students Islamic Movement of India have threatened to attack the cricket stadium. The West Indies will play four one-dayers in India. They lost the first clash in Nagpur Sunday. The other matches are due in Chennai and Baroda.
