Kenya coach Roger Harper on Thursday admitted his side have plenty of work to do after crashing to a shock defeat against fellow World Cup finalists Canada.

Kenya, who are seen as favourites to win the World Cricket League tournament for the six top non-Test cricket nations which starts next week, crashed to a 69-run defeat in the final match of the triangular limited overs series in Mombasa on Wednesday. "The defeat came as a reminder to us," said Harper, who took over as Kenya's coach a year ago. "We have to remain focused, keep working and we can't afford to be inconsistent." Harper said he was happy to see a great improvement with his top order following the return of experienced opening batsman Ravindu Shah who played an instrumental role in the Tri-series, scoring an unbeaten 113 against Scotland. Kenya will play Bermuda in the opening match of the World Cricket League in Nairobi on Janaury 29.LATEST SCORES
