A competent leg spinner Tafadzwa Kamungozi has shown some promise in the few ODIs he has played since making his debut against South Africa in September 2006. He was one of the surprise choices in the Zimbabwe squad for the ICC Champions Trophy in India later the same year particularly after he came in for a bit of a hammering while playing for the Board XI against the touring Australian Academy side. However he was fairly impressive in the three matches that he played.
