DateLine: 20th February 2007
An efficient wicket keeper and a hard-hitting batsman down the order Carlton Baugh has been in and out of the West Indies side over the last few years in both Tests and ODIs. He came up through the B team ranks and caught the selector's eyes when he hammered a hectic hundred for Jamaica against domestic kings Barbados. A few weeks later he hit another century for a Guyana Board XI against the touring Australians in 2003 when he took 16 off one over from Stuart MacGill. Ousted by Dinesh Ramdin in 2004 he has recently made a comeback and bids fair to be the regular stumper for some time to come. In Tests he has a highest score of 68 against England at Manchester in 2004.
