Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Paul Collingwood to hold media conferences tomorrow

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and England captain Paul Collingwood will hold their arrival media conferences in Johannesburg on Monday 10 September.

 

The Indian captain will be available at 1300 at the Boardroom 2, Sandton Convention Centre, while at the same venue at 1330 English captain Paul Collingwood will hold his media conference.

 

India’s open media session is scheduled for the Elangeni Hotel, Durban from 1730 to 1830 on 11 September and on the same day at the Newlands Sun Hotel, Cape Town, England will have its open media session from 1400 to 1445.

 

ICC Communications Officer Sami-ul-Hasan will be present at the India media session in Durban while James Fitzgerald, also ICC Communications Officer, will be in Cape Town to oversee the England session.

 

The inaugural ICC World Twenty20, which runs from 11 to 24 September, will open in Johannesburg with a game between host South Africa and the West Indies and concludes with the final at the same ground two weeks later. Three venues are being used, with Durban and Cape Town also staging matches.

 

During the tournament Sami will be based in Durban, James will be in Cape Town and Clare Fathers will act as ICC Venue Communications Manager in Johannesburg throughout the tournament. All their contact details are listed below.
