A trip to North Accrington the home of Enfield Cricket Club for the start of the new Sponsorbank Lancashire League, meant sitting around for two hours watching soccer on TV, before captains and umpires decided that play would not be possible.

 

Thoughts of a replay on May 10th were scuppered, as every other match in the league were played to a result. So three points each, and a hope that the start that has seen this league match, and three pre-season friendlies lost, will not continue, with two matches this weekend - away to Colne on Saturday and at home to Lowerhouse on Sunday.
