DateLine: 3rd June 2008
New Zealand coach describes Michael Mason as a workhorse, who can continuously hit the deck and bowl good line & length at a constant pace. But at age 33, it might just be a bit too late for this medium-fast bowler to etch out a good career.

He has been plagued with injuries throughout his playing days, like any other fast bowler. Yet he has found the time and motivation, to scalp 219 wickets in 67 First Class games, at an average of 24.37. He made his ODI debut against Pakistan way back in 2003, and has played 21 matches so far, picking up 25 wickets. Most impressive were his performances against Sri Lanka in 2006-07, while he also bowled well in Australia the next year.
Subsequently he was selected for the 2007 World Cup in the West Indies, and played five matches. However, he has played only one test match so far, debuting against the South Africans in 2004.LATEST SCORES
