Ramsbottom completed a weekend double over Todmorden with a convincing 72 run victory at Acre Bottom on Sunday. Eight wickets from sub pro Babar Naeem was the king pin as Todmorden failed to keep up with the asking run rate set by the home club.

Being put into bat, Phil Hayes again shared a large opening stand, this time with Naeem. The pair contributed 80 runs to give the innings fast momento, however the middle order failed to take full advantage, starting when Chris Read played a bad shot, hitting across the line. Keith Webb and Simon Read steadied the innings however with another half-century stand. Four wickets fell at 164, and the final score of 179 was a lot less than had been predicted earlier.

It was a procession of wickets that followed, with Babar Naeem bowling his brand of left-arm spin bamboozling the Todmorden batters. The dismissal of the in form Bodi was the beginning of the end, with Simon Read picking up two wickets to go with the sub-pro's 8 for 32.
