S Shankar, Former Kerala Ranji Opener clears the Umpiring examination conducted by Board of Control for Cricket in India

The written examination was held on 5th September 2008, at Mohali, and the Practical and Viva Voce on 20th and 21st September 2008, at Chennai.

He has played 40 matches for Kerala in Ranji Trophy

Shanker hails from Ernakulam and he is currently working as Officer in Indian Overseas Bank
