Christopher Mpofu is on of those players who got his chance at international level because of the exodus of rebels. He may be one of the few to have the abilities to make a decent career. He made his debut against England in October 2004 and caused the England top order a few anxious moments. But he lost his place after four test matches. A tall seam bowler who hits the pitch hard and can get good away movement, needs to be persisted with even though consistency is a problem. There is some talent and anyone with semblance of talent needs to be nutured
