Ashwell Prince is all set to return back to the Test squad in place of the injured Graeme Smith for the third and the final Test. He is also to take up the captain's mantle for the Test. Smith was injured in the ongoing Test when he was hit on the finger by a rising delivery from Mitchell Johnson. Prince was on the sidelines since a broken thumb provided the opening for JP Duminy.

 

With Prince reclaiming his middle order slot Hashim Amla likely to open in the next Test. There is though, a case for a specialist opening batsman, such as the in-form Imraan Khan.

 

The third Test starts in Cape Town on March 19.
