New Zealand crushed South Africa by 199 runs at the Bradman Oval in Bowral to secure their third consecutive victory and claim top spot in Group A. Their middle-order batsmen Amy Satterthwaite and Sara McGlashan scored quick half-centuries to lead their team to 250 for 5, after which New Zealand's bowlers routed South Africa for a meagre 51. Suzie Bates and Amiee Mason picked up four wickets each. The defeat meant that South Africa finished the group stage without a win.

New Zealand were dominant throughout the contest but for a short period at the start when they lost their first two wickets - Kate Pulford and Bates - off consecutive deliveries from Charlize van der Westhuizen with four runs on the board. Haidee Tiffen, who returned after missing the previous game, scored 16 off 57 balls and spent time at the crease while Satterthwaite did the bulk of the scoring during the 84-run stand for the third wicket. McGlashan joined Satterthwaite after Tiffen was run out and dominated the bowling. Satterthwaite fell for 73 off 76 balls, with the score on 107 for 4, but McGlashan found a solid partner in Nicola Browne.
They added 139 runs for the sixth wicket and both batsmen remained undefeated. McGlashan finished on 88 off 76 balls with nine fours and a six, while Browne ended on 51. Facing a stiff target of 251, South Africa crumbled with only one batsman - Cri-zelda Brits - getting into double figures. New Zealand's new-ball bowlers Sophie Devine and Pulford provided early breakthroughs, taking a wicket apiece but the damage was done by Bates and Mason, who continued her impressive form in the tournament. They ran through the middle and lower order, Mason finished with miserly figures of 4 for 2, while Bates took 4 for 7.LATEST SCORES
