England captain Andrew Strauss is fit for Friday's opening match of the one-day series against West Indies. Strauss suffered a right hamstring strain during Sunday's six-wicket defeat in the Twenty20 international and used a runner in practice on Wednesday.

 

"I had a little bit of a hamstring niggle but I've been working hard with the medical staff and I feel absolutely 100 percent fine," said Strauss.
