| Player: | M Manhas |
DateLine: 28th April 2009
Mithin Manhas is one of those so many stories of Indian cricket, where a player has it all, but doesnt make it. There was a phase in Manhas life when he was the next best thing to come out of Delhi cricket, but somehow he never managed to get into the zone that distinguishes international-level players from good ones. Manhas was always an attacking batsman, a keen fielder and used to bowl odd leg-break as well. He has led Delhi for several seasons, especially since Virender Sehwag was always away on national duty, but the side didnt really do much for most of the time, and that also dented his potential.
