For South Australia Attard and Bird added 63 runs for the ninth wicket in 46 minutes. Catchpole made the early breaks for A.C.T. but then conceded 43 runs in his second four over spell. In attempting to open his score Robinson was run out from the first ball of the second over of the A.C.T. innings.
