Twelfth men: DM Jeffrey (Australian Capital Territory); DA Todd (Queensland Country)
Axtill quickly had two wickets when Queensland batted but the innings was rescued by Rynne, firstly in partnership with Colville, then with Window and finally with Jesberg. Jesberg followed his fine innings of 58 not out with some excellent bowling, considerably restricting the scoring rate of the A.C.T. batsmen.
