United States of America managed to steal many runs as Canada did not use a wicket-keeper.
Marsh played under the name of Barker The Canadians offered the captaincy to Mr Pickering but received
no response On their arrival in New York they were surprised at the protest published by Mr Pickering.
However they planned to give a full response on their return to Canada The bowling as taken from Marder,
