Bad light terminated play....
A Delayed start was made at 3.00pm when the sun finally made an appearance; but there was a very strong wind which blew away the first coin used to toss up...
The Rawtenstall professional was not really fit enough to play after recently recovering from a serious illness; he took out a runner when required to bat which was somewhat unnecessary as he was dismissed first ball.
This was the first match with the new rule whereby an over comprised six deliveries instead of five.
