W.G.Quaife hit 11 fours in his innings of 119*. In the Worcestershire first innings, Straw hit the ball in the air and started to run. Glover ran in to catch the ball, Straw bumped into him while trying to make his ground and Glover dropped the ball. Straw was given out for obstructing the field.
