Walsh was struck on the hand by a delivery which forced him to retire for treatment
A successful appeal against the light ended play 20 minutes before the scheduled stumps on the first day
On the second day play resumed at 11.30am but after 1 over had been bowled heavy rain forced the players from the field with no further play possible before lunch
Play resumed at 2pm but after another hour at the fall of the third wicket the heavy rain returned and the match had to be abandoned
