Norfolk won this return match by 9 wickets at 1.30 pm on the second day.
The rain-affected game between the two sides at Norwich earlier in the month had been drawn.
Retrospectively, the victory ensured Norfolk shared the Championship with Durham and Worcestershire, though for some time many believed that Durham and Norfolk shared the total alone, as they would have done if the scoring system for the First Class Counties Championship had been applied to the competition.
For the winners, Shore took 11 wickets for 90 runs.
