For Wiltshire, Radcliffe's 63 included 9 fours. Miller kept wicket for Wiltshire when Smart bowled. R A Williams was making his debut for Berkshire in this match. It was his third Championship team in three years. He had previously played for Buckinghamshire in 1895 and Oxfordshire in 1896.
