For the winners, Wright's innings of 60 included 6 fours, and Cobb scored 53. Wright also took 9 wickets in the match for 99 runs. Ingram was unable to bat in the Berkshire second innings because of a leg injury. [All published scores have in the Buckinghamshire innings Gresson opening the batting, which he usually did. But this position is inconsistent with the fall-of-wicket details and the bowling order. However, the latter are consistent with Gresson batting fourth, as he may have done if he arrived late at the ground. The score above assumes this was the case.]
